What Video Game Did I Play Yesterday?
Find All: Christmas (Lenovo Legion Go)
January 5th, 2026
Today was much busier than I expected, but my apartment has a new thermostat and I was able to collect my prescriptions, so it at least ended well.
Yesterday, having finished Unfair Flips, I wanted to pick up Q-Up, another coin flipping game. However, to try to cut back on game spending, I've set up a needlessly complicated credit system for myself. This meant that I needed to clear a couple other games first.
I decided the Christmas themed hidden cat games were the desktop icons I most wanted gone, so I sat down to finish off Find All- Christmas. I actually really liked this. It had plenty of gameplay and offered some real, but not at all unfair hidden object challenges. It makes me want to tackle one of the less seasonal Find All games soon.
I also cleared Cats Hidden in Jingle Jam, which was a very typical hidden cats game. The first screen was pretty okay, and while it's nice that there was a second screen of 100 cats, it was riddled with difficult to parse blob cats. Still, this was fine for a freebie.
From there, I bought and tried Q-Up, which is quite different from Unfair Flips. This game seems like it's going to play out as a giant skill-modification based math puzzle from what I did last night, and I am very okay with that. Soon, I shall be the coin flip champion.

This is a quick, early post before my family's Christmas festivities start! I did light gaming only yesterday, with another failed round of Unfair Flips getting the majority of my small gaming time.
I played a very, very small amount of Find All: Christmas before I put my gaming PC away.
Then, before bed, I did about a puzzle and a half in Picross S: SNK Classics and Neo Geo.

I'm feeling a little better today, but am still very sleepy. I played a lot of low-impact games while I was dozing on and off yesterday, though. I took being half asleep as a chance to clear Ani Idle, hitting the max level, beating all the enemies, and clearing all the dungeons. This was in a weird space between an RPG and a clicker, but I didn't hate it. It was ok to play when I wasn't very focused, and I felt really satisfied when I finished it. It just existed in a strange space where I didn't have enough to do to feel like I was actively playing, but there was a little too much to do to really zone out to it.
I finished Hidden Cats: Christmas, too. I have this full series of games and am considering binging them so I have them over with.
On the subject of festive hidden object games, I finished the free stage in Find All: Christmas. The DLC has 200 objects to find, and I'm excited to get started on it! This is a good time.
I did a couple of runs in Unfair Flips and still didn't get the good ending. It was excellent for zoning out and half watching Youtube, though, so I'm not sorry I gave so much time to it.
Right before bed, I did some grinding away at numbers in Baking Time, too. I didn't get anywhere, but it helped me get to sleep pretty early, which was excellent!

Today, I'm way under the weather, so this will be kind of a short post. I was out of it last night, too, so I just played hidden object games. I finished up the Where [insert creature name] series with Where Dragon Spirits, which was cute, playable, and a little short. It was an ok note to end on.
I kept going with Find All:Christmas, too, making more progress in the first stage.

I have been having extremely long, vivid nightmares for the last couple of nights, so I'm really wiped out today. I was getting there yesterday, so I did some immensely casual gaming. I played Unfair Flips for a couple hours and still do not have my 10 heads in a row. I fell asleep playing it, though, and that was kind of excellent. Waking up to remember I was zoning out to a coin flipping sim was less great.
I got really close to the end of Ani Idle, which was driving me a bit crazy in that it's not an idle game at all. I had to be really on top of things to avoid dying and losing stacks of HP, so I need to do the last bit of this while I'm mildly alert.
I did some cat finding, too. Hidden Cats: Winter was kind of a "well, I've got this whole series, so I might as well play it" few minutes. It was definitely just there.
I started Find All: Christmas, but didn't finish it. I feel like the Find All games are kind of the gold standard for this kind of thing, and this is no exception. There's a nice variety of stuff to find, it puts some effort into actually hiding the objects, and it's cute and charming. I'm not even done with the main game yet, but I already dropped nearly 3 quarters on the DLC. It's really lovely!
